???????? L’aventure dunkerquoise s’est conclue dimanche 7 juillet pour les 17 artistes du projet Talkie-Walkie Walkie-Talkie. Réuni.es lors d’une traversée de la Manche, ils.elles ont passé plusieurs jours dans les ateliers de Fructôse à travailler ensemble, à poser les pierres d’une nouvelle forme de collaboration transfrontalière et, plus encore, celles d’une amitié franco-britannique à laquelle nous souhaitons un bel avenir.

???????? The Dunkirk adventure ended Sunday 7th, 2019 for the 17 artists of the Talkie-Walkie Walkie-Talkie project. Brought together on a Channel crossing, they spent a few days in Fructôse’ studios working all together, laying the foundation stones of a new form of cross-boarder collaboration framework and, even more, those of a Franco-British friendship in which we wish a bright future.

La délégation française embarque de Calais pour aller à la rencontre des artistes anglais·es qui monteront à bord à Douvres. Ces traversées seront les premiers moments de rencontres et d’échanges entre les artistes français·es et anglais·es !

The French delegation embarks from Calais to meet with the British artists, who will board at Dover. Those traverses will be the first moments of meeting and exchange between the French and the British artists!

▶︎ 5-6/07/2019: Let’s the 48-hours artistic marathon begin!

Suite aux rencontres de la veille, les artistes se retrouvent les 5 et 6 juillet dans les ateliers de Fructôse. Regroupés en quatre équipes de création, ces artistes aux nationalités et pratiques artistiques différentes construiront des créations collectives autour du concept de transfrontalité. Utopiques, caustiques, pragmatiques, engagés, délirants, pointus ou farfelus, ces projets réalisés dans le climat fiévreux d’un marathon artistique de 48 heures chercheront à créer du lien là où la rupture menace.

Following the previous meetings, the artists are meeting each other again on the 5th and 6th of July at Fructôse’s studios. Grouped into four creative teams, these artists with different nationalities and artistic practices will make collective creations around the trans-border concept. Utopian, caustic, pragmatic, delirious, in-depth, critical or far-fetched, these projects, carried out in the feverish atmosphere of a 48-hour artistic marathon, will aim to create bonding wherever the threat of rupture looms.
